I’m Fillip Kosorukov — a founder, published psychology researcher, and solo builder based in Indianapolis. I build software products that sit at the intersection of behavioral science and technology, with a focus on helping individuals and small businesses navigate problems that don’t have obvious solutions.
This is the longer version of the story. The shortest version is on my home page; the academic version is on my research page. This page is for the people who want to understand how the pieces connect.
My Background
I grew up in a family where ideas were taken seriously, arguments were common at the dinner table, and curiosity was treated as a virtue. That shaped a lot of how I think today — I still find it hard to accept surface-level explanations for anything, and I’d rather understand a problem deeply than move past it quickly.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico in 2020, graduating summa cum laude and on the Dean’s List. My undergraduate years were spent in research — primarily working with the MATEO Lab (Motivation, Addiction, and Temporal decision-making in Emerging-adult Outcomes), where I contributed to studies on addiction recovery, behavioral interventions, and decision-making under uncertainty.
That work resulted in peer-reviewed research published by Taylor & Francis and indexed on PubMed. You can see a summary on my research page or the full publication list on my Google Scholar profile and ORCID.
The through-line of all that work was the same question that still drives everything I build: why do people make the decisions they make, and what can be changed at the margins to produce better outcomes?
What I Build
I run several technology and real estate ventures from Indianapolis. Each one, in its own way, applies behavioral-science thinking to a problem where traditional approaches fall short.
LocalMention.io is an AI visibility audit platform. It measures how local businesses appear in AI-powered search results — Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini — and shows owners exactly where their business shows up, where competitors take space, and how to fix the gaps. The behavioral-science piece: small business owners often don’t know what they don’t know about digital visibility, so the product is designed to make the invisible visible in a single report.
FixMyRecord.io is an automated personal reputation audit and data-broker removal service. It helps people see what’s being said about them online, where their personal information is exposed, and removes the problematic pieces systematically. The behavioral-science piece: reputation management is traditionally expensive and opaque, designed for wealthy clients. FixMyRecord automates it for individuals who need help but can’t afford $5K/month services.
Resilient Capital LLC is my momentum-based trading firm, focused on high-quality setups in equity markets.
Resilient Properties is my real estate investment arm, focused on acquiring and renovating distressed residential properties in the Indianapolis metro area — taking homes that would otherwise be demolished and returning them to the housing stock.
There’s also Resilience, a gamified support platform for people navigating reentry after incarceration. It applies what I learned in the MATEO Lab about motivation and decision-making to help people build skills, track progress, and stay engaged during one of the hardest transitions anyone faces. Not all work has to be commercial.
How I Think About Work
Three principles guide almost everything I build:
1. Behavior change happens at the margins. Most interventions fail not because the idea is wrong but because they demand too much change too quickly. The interesting design problem is usually: what’s the smallest shift that produces a meaningful difference? My psychology research was about exactly this. My software products try to be exactly this.
2. Build for people who’ve been told they don’t count. Reputation management as a service was invented for the 1%. Data broker removal used to require attorneys. AI visibility audits are sold to enterprise clients for thousands of dollars. I keep building tools for the other 99% — the individuals and small business owners who need the same capabilities without the price tag.
3. Write to think. I publish regularly on my blog, on Substack, Dev.to, and Hashnode. Writing forces me to clarify ideas I’d otherwise leave vague. It also creates accountability — once I’ve committed to a view in public, I have to defend it or update it.
Outside Work
I’m based in the Indianapolis metro area with my partner and our dog. I trade the US equity markets daily, study psychological research on behavior change and decision-making, and spend a significant portion of each year traveling — Iceland, the Balkans, Italy, and various US national parks have been recent favorites.
I stay close to academic research through my MATEO Lab connections and by reading papers regularly. I’m particularly interested in how classical findings on motivation, cognitive load, and temporal discounting apply to new contexts like AI-mediated decisions and digital identity.
